If you like the car, and you think the payments will be manageable, I would go for it. Just be realistic about it. I wouldn't miss meals over a car, but it IS a nice ride. Just don't over-extend yourself.

Nothing beats a piece of paper and pen. sit down write out all your monthly expences and i mean ALL. don't forget savings. (life happens) whats left is the payment and ins. don't forget extra for fun gas and car care products. by the way good credit got mine at a $504 payment.

But I also have the option for getting a 2011 camaro ls with the payments in the high 300's and the lt why payments would be about 480 a month. Idk what to do
unless you absolutely HAVE to have the 1LT,i would save some scratch, and go for the LS!...the LS had enough "features" to convince me to buy it!..i'll tell ya ,i love the "steelies",and it has everything else that makes a camaro a camaro!

My biggest thing is I gess is me getting the car and not liking it as much as I do. I love the way the car looks in and out. I'm just fine with the six cylinder and steel wheels ( cheaper tires I figure. Yeah i got to test drive a 6 speed manual but it was in the city and I couldn't see what it would do. That's my biggest worry not the payments

To the OP.... The LS is a sweet car and it's nothing to sneeze at...

By the way OP, I think you should go with a 1LT/RS. However if I were you I'd save before going through with it, it helps a lot with the payments.
