Alright guys I think this is it...
Well I was initially planning on ordering a 2011 2SS/RS M6 and go through the whole process of waiting and what not so I could experience the exitement, tracking it down, thinking about possible future mods while I wait, however I was on autotrader.com this past week and came across an almost new (1200 miles)
-2010 2SS/RS A6 -IOM Leather seats -Interior Trim Kit -Sunroof -Black racing stripes -Remote Start $33,999 I think I could haggle the price down a bit, but my main concern ( I havn't gone to look at it yet) is that it wasn't treated right or that it was in an accident previously. I checked the carfax but all it says is "14 records found" but then charges me to look at these records in detail. So do you guys think I should go see this car/ask the dealership if there is anything wrong with it or just forget it all together and order an '11. This cars looks amazing with the IOM and black racing stripes and I really don't care for the HUD in the '11s. So let me have it guys what do you think? Edit: I guess I could have provided a link to the car

The IOM seats are really hard to keep clean. If you want this car then pay for the carfax. However you will never truly know how the car was treated and Carfax will not tell you if its one of the cars that has had multiple problems. I would generally stay away from a car so new for sale unless I had personal knowledge of it before hand.

I would go check it out if I was you, sounds like a pretty good deal to me and the IO interior is awesome, I love mine.

The dealer can give you the carfax for no charge. They should be able to fax it to you though they may require you to be at the dealership.
With 14 records, I would want to see what happened.

I agree, although I thought about it and remembered how I used to get messages on my PC that stated I have over 50 viruses and I needed a "free" scan which than turned into them wanting me to buy the software so I could see in detail what programs were infected, etc....

Sounds like you might wanna get the carfax from the dealer. It'd be a good idea to know what the 14 records
are.

I have 1 VIN left in my 5 pack I bought from carfax if the dealer doesn't give you one hit me up on a pm. The reports don't travel well though they are not pdf's I could screenshot them. If you are really serious about getting a used one the 5 pack is worth the 45 bucks.

Looks like you were planning on ordering a M6, the used one is an auto. Don't compromise! Get what you really wanted. I have always factory ordered my special cars. It's great knowing the car you are driving is exactly the way you wanted it!

Yea I know...I wanted a M6 but I would still need time to learn how to drive it, which I didn't mind at all I really wanted to be able to learn how to drive it, it's really hard to decide though!
