Sorry. I read that to mean "relocate the sub", not "relocate the gain control".

I put the gain control Inside the center console, driver side near front.
East to open the console, adjust and close while driving and
Completely hidden.
Also very easy to run the gain cable to center console from under rear seat.

Did you just relocate the knob in the sub or did you get another one? I just need to know if I need to get some wire and splices.

I mean, did you reuse the knob from the sub?

I bought the "Remote Gain Control" that matched my Amp.
Its a small kit, comes with remote wire, long enough to go from trunk to dash, Gain control Potentiometer, with Knob and mounting hardware.

You need the gain control because some songs, especially classic rock, need the sub turned up, other songs will need the bass turned down.

Yeah, your right, I forgot it has connections for both on the wiring harness.

I can't believe people are still posting in this thread, I don't even have the car that I installed this system in anymore. I put a ******** Stealth box in my new car.

Do you have a part number or some kind of search string? I assume you still have the factory amp?

My SUB amp is a JL M600/1, so I used the HDRCL for level control.

Many aftermarket amps have remote kits. It varies by brand and model.

I'm fairly sure what your looking for is already in the thread on page 4. Unless your looking for non-BA install.
