Is there a breakout of how many of these were left over 2018 models?

That, and there's no real appreciable difference between the 2017, 2018, and 2019's (besides the aforementioned overhaul to how options are ordered and some colors changing. Other changes may not matter to most buyers: The Demon going away, a minor update to the Hellcat, and some widebody offerings on the SRT 392.) Dealers are not offering any markdowns or incentives on the leftover 2018 inventory. Most are asking full MSRP in my area for the "fun" cars -- T/A 392, Scat Pack, SRT 392. In summary, the sales boost Dodge saw after the Challeger refresh and after introducing some of the "fun" cars is dying down naturally because nothing has really changed in about 3 model years now. Unless they do something dramatic, sales will probably continue to slow down until they stop production in the early / mid 2020's (they'll be force to due to CAFE requirements.)

Good to see the numbers are in line with the others and a tick up. I would hate for this platform to go away again. I want to see a GEN7, GEN8...........

Does the sales of 2018’s come into play here? How many of their Q1 units sold were 2018 left overs and how many are actually 2019’s sold if that is total new units sold regardless of lefteover or new 2019.

By the looks of the two local Chevy dealers near me the 2018s and a few 2017s are sitting while the 2019s are selling .Chevy may have to offer real big sales on those 18s to move them and send the 17s to auction .
