Weather tires

Hey everyone! I am wondering if there are any good winter tires that I can purchase for my 2010 2LT RS???

Winter will be coming soon and this is the only car I have. Any advise would be GREAT!!!!!

Meh, don't listen to them, a set of real winter tires on the camaro makes it handle great in the snow.

Since you have a 2LT, you have a lot of options. The cheapest option would be to buy a complete set of 20" pirelli scorpion ice and snow tires and put them on the stock rims.
$1123 is what that cost me last year, with all tax and everything included. Then the tire shop would put the summer tires on the stock rims for me.

I think it runs $1400 or so for a set of 18" wheels and tires on Tirerack. You'll also need TPMS.

If you go the 20" route on tirerack, you will have to shop by size to find them. They don't show up under the car itself. 245/45/R20 and 275/40/R20 are the two sizes.

$823 tire rack shipped 17" bridgestone blizzak and rims w/o TPMS. Add about 270 for tpms.

julieann, or others,

I have a set of snow tires for sale...I have them listed in classified section. They are Blizzak LM top rated snows with just one season of use about 4,000 miles. Private message me if interested. I also have 4 brand new rims in boxes that these tires will fit and made to fit 2LT RS.

best
J

It is on its way. Blackhawk6 is coordinating this one. It will need to be aggressive to get everyone there timely and back timely. He has a good plan together. Check it out.

I just went to NM and back in August. Two 15 hour plus days in the car and half a day on the third. As for the drive, very comfortable. The car keeps you feeling good. Are you up for another cruise?

Thumbs up pirelli scorpion snow & ice

Just had them put on the other day. No snow days yet but
awesome dry and wet grip and ride. I will take pics later today,
when the sun comes up.
