Picked up some this afternoon. Will post if it's good.
FYI, this is cloth, not plastic as I had assumed. Rallyrob, did you try the doors yet? Seems like the gap is too small. |

I'll get some close-up's. Again, it is fabric, so, it's not perfectly smooth, and keeping it taught is a trick.
Until Rallyrob chimes back in, here are some things that I've found... You will likely need a few credit cards. The corners get bent up and lose rigidity after a while. You can trim back the card and make a new, rounded corner, but this only lasts so long. Maybe we can find a better tool for this. I need to figure out a good end treatment (you can see the white cord inside at the cuts). I tried pulling out the cord, trimming it back, and then pulling the outer casing past the cord. The ends unravel, too. Maybe a heat source will allow sealing the ends up. The gap around my door panel was really tight. This is where you'll need to keep a fresh card edge. |

Here's a close-up showing the piping and my two-card technique. The small one opens the gap and the bigger one is easier to hold and push.
I found that heating with a lighter and pinching it closed kind of works to seal the ends so that the central, cotton cord does not stick out on the ends. |
