Who has Retro Chambered exhaust Paired with headers that are not SW?
Looking to get the Retro Chambered exhaust Cat-Back, but I want to get a different brand of headers due to fitment issues with SW headers.

I have Stainless Power headers and hi flo cats connected to SW retros, but they are exact same design. What fitment issues? Mine fit and perform just fine.

You can use whatever headers you like but fitment issues are not common with Stainless Works.

I'd like to suggest that you have incorrect information and might want to reconsider your source.

Only problem is when you use the 3 inch retro cat back ,you MAY need to shim the frame support or replace it with a after market one that won't rub under acceleration . 3 washers on each side doe's the trick . IMHO the retro cat back sounds the best of all of them ,but it is loud

Not sure where you heard of fitment issues, but we haven't ever ran across any. The full stainless works system is an awesome way to go; it's what we run on the JDP Camaro!
Feel free to call, PM or email me anytime with questions. Best regards, Tyler 888-308-6007 |

I read it on this forum; cant find the thread now. Not only was it said about fitment issues, but there were also issues with some of the welds. Thanks guys.

For sure going to get the cat-back though. Just on the fence about the headers; don't want it to be obnoxiously loud. I trust everyone of your opinions which is why I came to you.
