Sold my 2010 Fully Loaded 2SS *tear*

I never thought that I would sell my car but I did it. The feeling is bittersweet...the car has brought me a lot of joy for almost 2 years. I sold it for the balance of my loan and will be purchasing the ZL1 when available. I am #3 on my dealer's pre order list. Just wanted to share my news with everyone....it was a beautiful car. I gave up something I loved to get something that I will love more. It's back to driving my 98 Z28 for now.
:(
Side note: I have my 2010 2SS factory exhaust for sale if anyone is interested send me a message and name your price.

Anyone else sold their car? or planning to get the ZL1? I figured i'd get more money with a private sale vs a trade-in.

On the pre order list for the ZL1, this will be my first
camaro though. Have to get use to driving a manual
again, been driving automatics for quite awhile now.
I should be ok after a couple of weeks, this will be my
weekend fun car only.

At least you're only giving up the 2010 Camaro to go for a ZL1! Nothing wrong with that. I probably would consider moving up to a ZL1 myself if I didn't hate all that suede and odd squared steering wheel so much.

Suede is an more exp option for the ZL1, comes standard
in leather. I'm not thrilled about the steering wheel either
, but I'll wait and see how it looks and feels once I drive
the car. If I still dislike it I"ll see what's out Thier on the
after market. But this car really has alot to offer in it"s
stock form, I"ll still be modding, I won"t be able to resist
the temptation.

I hope you do come to some meets. I have never met anyone in the Germantown area. Met some people from Va but none from around me.

I assume they will start taking pre orders in the fall. My dealer said that they would keep me updated. As long as I have it by April/May 2012 I will be happy.

It was a little sad to see my baby go. Sold it to someone in NYC and he said he would be sending it to his other residence is Isreal. Now it will turn heads over seas :-)

I've never owned a manual but have always wanted one. This will be my first and I plan on getting a lot of practice in until the zl1 arrives.

To the OP...take comfort in knowing at least one Pilot CTF car has already been produced...should not be too long of a wait for such a cool car. You made a great choice.
