Sunshade?

does anyone know of any specific sun shade to use with the camaro?

I was driving around my light color cloth interior alero earlier today and about burned myself just sitting on that. a black leather is going to fry me unless i can find something to block it out.

if anyone has any recommendations please suggest them

Yeah, sunshades look ugly from the outside, but I definitely will need to get one with temps getting into the 100s and black leather sitting down in shorts... ouch!

Tint helped out greatly. And it cools down quickly. Of course we are not in the dead of summer yet!!

I don't want to tint the windows anymore than they are from the factory. They are darker than I thought they would be, seem just right to me. I am wondering about a sunshade too, so what if they look ugly? It's not like you drive around with it.

Right... it's just quite distracting and takes away from the appearance of the car when it's on a parking lot or whatever. I don't really mind, but some people really can't stand them.

I drape a towel over the driver's wheel. Others have mentioned putting a towel on the seat when you get out ... not to sit on but to keep the heat from the seat.

besides wheel locks, towels for the seats/wheel were right up at the top of the list of things to get, including obviously a shade of some sort.

obviously all of this is going to distract from the appearance of the car, but being able to drive the car to me ranks above just looking at it... well for the most part

If you have to park your car in the sun you're nuts to not use one of these. Not only does it protect your car's interior from the UV rays it keeps it cool. Heat is just as bad as UV rays when it comes to damaging your interior. I've used one on every single one of my autos. Who cares if others think they're ugly.

How about a car cover. That might help.

Yeah, no tint for me.

My windows are going to be down so everyone can see that massive smile on my face!
