Talking ADM / Magnaflow 3" system for the ARH Catted system - Pics and thoughts

I'll try to get some sound files up as soon as I can, but so far so go. With the ARH catted system and stock catback, it sounded pretty good, but was a little too high pitched and popped a good bit on decel. With the magnaflow system, it sounds AWESOME! It brings it down to a nice low rumble and when you get on it, it gets nice and loud with none of the high pitched rasp of the stock axelback. It has helped quite a bit with the decel pops as well. You get a little decel rumble but none of the BANG backfire pops that I had heard before

Anyway .. on to the pics .. I'll update with video as soon as I can. The car / catback is a bit dirty since we have been having rain here since last Thursday so please be gentle . If you have been on the fence about doing this .. do it, you won't be dissapointed!

Edit .. updated with Video .. last rev was to about 4.3k

This is the same system that ADM posted up a little while ago. It replaces the ARH Xpipe and uses the complete 3" system from Magnaflow.

Got to hear it for myself. OMG this is the sound. It is a really really nice deep tone and under power it is the most beautiful sound.

correct me if I'm wrong but shouldnt the 3' system only be used if you were
going to make atleast 500 RWHP....Wouldnt it hurt bottom end torque?

Thanks

That's what I've heard too. Haven't seen any dyno's to prove it though. And you'd probably still gain over stock, but maybe not as much as a 2.5" system.

Crowley, what are you running? If I am not mistaken I think we may be near the same - just picked her up tonite with the Maggie installed - also running ARH LT/Stock muffs with the K&N/Hennessey CAI - with Hotchkis.

Really curious to know the difference with the magnaflow addition

Nice set up Crowley, I had the 3" magnaflow on my car at first but we decided to go with the kooks 3" all the way just because I had the kooks headers too. Personaly I like the sound of the magnaflow. Good choice

your son sounds like my little guy - i bet he covers his ears when he tells you to stop also.

Anyhow, sounds great and still keeps a bit of the chirp at the peak - will consider thanks to this vid.

Lol .. yep .. he is great ...

I really need to get some in car video (sound) and then a trailing car to video me doing some drive by for the exhaust sound under load. The video I think sounds good, but I'd like to get some other videos to show just how good .. lol
