I've done a few things to get ready for the new Camaro. I'm working hard on getting my 69 Camaro back to a rolling state. Hoping to get all the metal work complete by the end of the year. Also planning to get it painted before the new one arrives. Then I'll be able to get this one to a point where it only occupies one side of the garage.

I also thought about this, my garage is currently a horrendous mess. I moved here after Katrina and just threw up some plastic shelves and chunked crap on them. I need to take it out, clean the floors and get it ready to park in. At least half the garage will be dedicated tools, tables etc.

I cannot take over the whole garage, but man the one with the table and monitor is sweet! When I put tile on the floor, (noob here, be gentle) Do I have to get special garage tiles? What about vinyl tiles or even vinyl rollout flooring? What are the drawbacks to not spending high dollar (I would like to stay married)?

I just built a 2.5 car garage last year. . . I didn't like all the white on white on white in there so I invited my buddy over that tagged the garage the other night. Still need to work on the other side.

Comments?

2. I have to order the SS's brother.

We started off with the Chevy emblem. . . then Justin said, we need a big Mother-Fing scull over there. . . And the rest was on the spot spraying. lol. . I didn't want a "traditional" garage.

Oh, I ordered the "U-Coat It" for the floor also. Got it in blue.

Darn....the link to the post is not the same one as I had found two days ago. Thanks anyhow.
The single post looks awesome for a lift, but that leverage factor on it is scarey.
One of the products in the previous link I had found was racetrack something or other. I'm sure I can find that on the net. But they had some other products on it. Even one made by Rhino lining.
Thanks for the link on the epoxy. Thats about the best price I've seen on it. I may end up doing that myself then. At least my current epoxy is not peeling or anything like that. Its just beat up and worn.
Thanks again. If anybody finds anymore please throw it onto this thread as its getting buried with all the other things going on

Looks like Krazy and old found the holy grail of custom garage floors with this site http://www.garagejournal.com/ I han't gone all thru it yet, but it certainly looks as if it would address every possibility, and its a forum by users much like this one. Now if I can find one like that for garage hoists I'd be all set. Thanks members!

The garage has actually been my project since last Nov., it was a noninsulated/unfinished garage that I built with my house 9 years ago.
It's since been insulated, sheetrocked, I rewired it from the main panel in the house with a 100 amp service, ran a cable for satellite as well, added all new lighting, installed a 38k btu propane heater and 1-1/2 ton ac condensor.
These pic's are of it just about finished..as soon as it warms up a little more I'm going to epoxy the floor and add the flakes, build a permanent workbench and install the entertainment system.
The last pic is from last winter and shows how the newest SS will fit in there.....and yes.... I know :(

I keep the daily drivers as well as all the yard stuff in the main garage attached to the house.

Nice Pics....Did you buy all those street signs, or are they all evidence of misdemeanor crimes. It's so easy to read the plates on the those cars too, making it simple to track you down.
