Hey guys -

I have to go to DC for a couple months in 2 weeks. I will be accepting orders until the middle of next week. These will then be available again in Feb. Please order now if you want one.

Is this still available? The link is dead. I plan to hard wire my RX65 this weekend and would like to get one of these to replace the suction cups.

Where did you find that? I saw a thread in here about one but don't recall it mentioning a site or name of the product. And does yours work with Beltronics?

Hey guys I am having a little trouble. Attempting to hardwire the v1. Went to radioshack and they did not have any fuse taps. The v1 comes with a t tap. I was wondering if anyone went that route. Do you need to use invisicord? Thanks guys.

you don't need to use an invisicord....but it's easier (plugs right into the back of your rear-view mirror).

Snapped perfectly into the Escort slot. It does hang a bit low 3/4" to 1" from the headliner.
I think with a little bending I can get it snug like the picture in post #27

Good job on this one it's a solid piece... Suction Cups simply Suck..
I just did this as well. I ended up purchasing the Camaro Radar Detector Visor Mounting Bracket from Southern Car Parts ($24.99 + $5.00 shipping) and the Escort Radar Detector Stealth Mirror Power Cord from Safe-N-Sound1 ($9.50 shipped) instead of the Invisicord. I installed mine on the driver's side visor and it was a quick and easy install. It looks awesome!

Perhaps the shipping was more expensive last year or perhaps it's more expensive to ship to your area. I just purchased this a couple of weeks ago and I only had to pay a $5 Flat Rate for standard shipping.

As mentioned before, you don't need to use Invisicord but it's a lot easier and you don't have to run a wire down to tap into your fusebox. I went with the stealth mirror cord from Safe-N-Sound1 because it does the exact same thing the Invisicord does but it is a lot cheaper.
