Count me as interested. Sounds like I need a tune to get rid of my K&N CEL anyhow.

Hell...half the reason I want LTs is because of the awsome rumble or loping like sound it gives the V6 versus one without...I just love it. Now imagine if you could get that at idle with just the tune.

I will say this though..and it is probably being a bit picky, but I don't think I'd want my car to sound quite like the above video, but if Vince can tweak it to our liking to give us whatever amount of cam-like sound.....(more or less "loping" sound) I'd really dig that.
I don't think we'd hear as much "lope" as the 5.0. The 3.8L Mustangs on Youtube with cams sound AMAZING and not as harsh as the 5.0 vid in the OP. If we could get anything like that on the LLT I'd JIMP.

But throw in this and it might tip the balance toward being worth it.

Aren't most of us paying $800-1000 for catbacks which are primarily just for sound?
Different sound. I'd think 1 grand for sound increase while driving is worth it. But 400 dollars just for idle sound? lol... That's all im saying.

But it's $400 for the minimal performance benefits PLUS idle sound. That might make it worth the $400 for the tune. That's all I'm saying.

Actually, it doesn't make your car sound like it has a different cam. It makes your sound like the cam that came in it. The tune just eliminates the compensation used to smooth the idle out.

You sure about that? That's kinda cool if the stock cams sound like that. But I'd be surprised if that is really what they sound like.

Of course, if that's true, then we don't have to worry about any negative impact to the engine.

Any support for that claim, formare????

I used to be able to make the Honda EFI outboards sound pretty mean when locking them into base timing mode. This would eliminate idle stabilization and they would hunt and lope pretty good. This would definatly not be very streetable if that is what they are doing to get the sound. The big 4's and 6's would barely run and would usually die if you tried to step up the rpms on put them in gear. Purpose was for diagnostics only.

I imagine the sound will just be like however your exhausts sound right now, but with Chopping. No, it should be steetable, as Vince says, there are different Cam phase tables for idle and off idle. So as soon as you are not idle, the cams should perform as they would stock. Once in idle, this tune would do its job, etc.
