Do you know or know anyone that can verifiy if the production cars rear quarter panels wheel arch sheetmetal is pre-rolled for us? Having to roll fenders warps panels and is a p.i.t.a. FYI - All Mercedes Benzes are rolled and that allows max rubber in the wells. I would hope GM would consider this for the first time ever lol. They finally stepped up and are offering Zenon lighting on a sub 40k vehicle id hope the wheelwells are rolled for suspension/drag enthusiasts.

The vehicles that I have seen are all prototype or pre-production and not really production so I can't say either way for sure. My guess using a broken crystal ball would be no.

Compare the performance to this video that shows the OEM Camaro and a Pedderised Camaro. The HHR SS / Cobalt SS are terrific cars. The Cobalt makes a terrific race car because it has a robust monocoque and is light. The Camaro has an even more robust monocoque, but is not as light. Most drivers are faster around a road course in FWD than RWD. Most racers would prefer to run RWD. Watch the videos, as different as they are, and make your own choice about all three vehicles. |
