high flow cats, cai and no tune= lean?

I don't use my camaro as a daily driver which only has 700 miles on it and I'm not ready to void my warranty with mods that do. If I was to install solo high flow cats and cai , do I run the risk of running lean without a tune?

I had installed a CAI intake, catch can and clean side separator prior to my tuner running the baseline and he commented that it was running "quite a bit rich." YMMV

Can the stock MAF and ECU adjust to the dynamic range high flow cats and CAI add to air flow? I would have to see some plugs and check color, I think it would be pretty lean.

Mods: ARH headers and hi flow cats, VMAX ported throttle body, CAI air intake, Slowhawk Performance tuning

Yes it can. We have guys running CAI's, PTB's, and LTs with no tune and don't have issues.

This. The ECM can handle adjusting for those mods on it's own. It would be a good idea to check your MAF sensor though.

"Weak" vs "Strong" Camaro SS MAF Sensors
