Hopefully GM will see the need to fix the rear calipers on the V6 and make it an easy upgrade in the near future.
The rear caliper on the v6 cars are a sliding design and as the pad wears the caliper will move inboard and hit the zl1 style bar.I would be afraid of it breaking the brake line fitting off of the caliper.

Good to know. Guess I will save money by just getting the 2010-11 style aftermarket bar. Won't have to upgrade my LCAs.

From what Jesse told me that was the whole idea. All I know they have it spot on in the tuning department.

Hmmmmmmm $4000 for Brembos, $3000 for LE1 gear and shafts only, and ZL1 sways $1000. The addition of U bushings totals about $10,000 more, I got $40,000 into it now!
That old saying U want to play U got to pay is sure holding true, lol.

You don't need Brmbro's unless you are doing it for looks? The V6 brakes work extremly well. Another choice is looking for used ones that someone took of to swith to the V6 ones.

He has not done any of this work yet. But I agree, look somewhere else for the sway bars, or even a differant kind.

For the sways that use the new mounting point on the LCAs, you need Brembos (or other than stock V6 brakes) as the bar might contact the caliper or brake line when the pads get worn down.
