Hey NorCal Guys

I am planning on ordering a detail kit from adams. My camaro and my fathers corvette are both a mess. I am planning on having my father come over to my house when the weather gets better to detail and clean up the cars. If anyone that has knowledge of detailing a car could help us out I would love you to come over. I have no clue what I am doing, especially since I have vinyl stripes and something about how your not supposed your not supposed to was them. I will let you use all the adams products i ordered on your car too . I mean we can make this a whole a meet with everyone and get together at my place. I will order pizza and beer and I have a garage ( a small one ) that people could possibly get some work done if they wanted. I am also having the wheel guy come over to repair my dads wheels and one of mine that has some rash on them.

I'd like to come hang out, crack a few beers and help out. I don't know much about this detailing kit but I can't imagine it's all that difficult. I usually wipe my car down after a wash and drying with meguiars detail spray. If I wax it, I've read youre not supposed to put wax on the vinyl or on the edges of the vinyl because it can give it a coloring over time on the edges.

By the way yesterday I changed out my transmission and rear differential fluid. Made a huge difference in drive train chatter and shifts are smooth like butter now, even on cold starts! I highly recommend doing these fluid changes, very easy to do.

I'd be down to hang out. I've come to find out that I'm too much of a perfectionist when it comes to cleaning my car and I'll never get it right. I'll provide moral support though!

I'd be game. I attended an 8 hour class at Meguiar's in Irvine and learned a bit I could share.
