Just got an e-mail from my salesman and he had the manager look but the system was having problems so they were not able to see anything. I hope they keep trying today and get back to me, as an IT guy that's what I would do; so I hope they do that for me. I wish Chevy allowed us to see our order, i.e. New Egg, Amazon etc all allow us. I'm on pins and needles and can't get my head cleared to do any of my honey dos...

I originally ordered on 10/20/09 and had to cancel my order in Feb. when my dealer decided to raise the price from GMS to MSRP. I went to a different dealer to get GMS. Man was I mad.

THe new dealer is nice and I hope to be built within 3 weeks or less. I hit 3300 last Thursday. I figure I should move to 3400 today or tomorrow.

Primus, you may have placed a deposit in October, but no orders were 'placed' until March.

Thats wrong, it was up to your dealer as to when they placed the order through workbench. Many were placed right on the day of ordering, others like myself who ordered the first day, was put in at the last week of January

I am at 3400 as well. To be honest, im not that excited anymore, i think im at a point where i just want my car now.

I am surprised nobody has a VIN yet. Do we know for sure if any actually were built this week or last? How long after one is built does it take for the VIN to show up in Workbench?

Should be the day of. My TPW is still June 1st, so im expecting a vin on Mondayy or Tuesday since my original TPW was April 20th. I hope that GTO gets his vin first since his TPW was originally March 23rd!

Not sure how accurate the information is but my dealer's internet sales manager just emailed me today saying my 2LT manual has changed to status 4200. He also mentioned that event code 4200 means it's bayed and ready to ship, however here it apparently means the car has been shipped out to the dealer. Either way, I hope it's correct!
