solo exhaust with headers/cam

Anyone have a sound clip of this? I have the Mach XL and people are saying it will be too loud with headers/cam. Would like to hear it.

if you have headers and no cam or cam and no headers i'd like to hear that too.

I have the solo Mach XL with j-pipes on my convertible. Last month I had a cam, headers and high flow cats installed all at once. I thought the solo was a bit on the quiet side when I got it but it's not any more. When I picked the car up I actually wondered if my wife or the neighbors would think it was too loud. Don't know about the neighbors other than the fact that no one has thrown a rotten orange at me or anything, but my wife loves the way it sounds. She says it is without a doubt the best sounding car I've owned since we've been married and I have to agree with her. It is fairly loud when I get on it, but isn't at all disruptive in normal driving. Unfortunately, I only have an idle video and I have no idea how to post that.

I also have the Mach XL with headers, cam and high flow cats. Before I installed the cats it was abnoxiously loud, the cats toned it down a bit and it sounds great. It's stlii loud but has a deep growl that sounds great, when you get on it it screams. I have had many comments on it but usually they are favorable. I've tried to record it but it doesn't sound anything like it does in reality.

Hey Steve...go for it. The Solo system sounds great with headers! Cats will help quite things down some but that Solo will never get to invasive and your cabin volume will never get over the top.

Mach XL with Kooks headers here. Posted a video last year, but as many have stated before, the video doesn't accurately reflect the sound
