Warranty Work in SoCal.

Someone has got to know of a decent place that won't be douche bags because of Longtubes and no cats.
I'm taking it in for a lifter tick and my power steering pump is whining.
Someone help a brother out. thanks

Not sure how they are now, but several years ago Bob Stall was where I took my heavily modded Z for warranty work.

Shaun there's another Chevy dealer up the I-5 right past Sea World. I don't remember the name though. Maybe check them out. Ron Baker is pretty strict. Service guy there told me they look for ECM flashes, but wouldn't say anything. Just would know you altered the car. I guess they all can be a-holes though when it comes to powertrain issues.

I am taking mine in Wednesday to Jimmie Johnson Chevrolet. I will find out if I am happy with there warranty work. It has a hesitation when I accerlate and a drone sound, hopefully it not a big problem. I have had mine almost three years but with low mileage (6100). I have thought of getting a dyano done to fine tune it.

I think mine has to do with AFM too. The ticking is getting unbearable. I can hear it in side my car while accelerating.

Yes sir hesitation and drone are the 2 most common annoying symptoms of AFM unfortunately

Went to bob stahl just for the hell of it and they wanted me to pay 79.99 just to look at it and then provide them with oil change records and other records of the car maintence I told them I have no records beside receipts of the oil being bought because I change the oil myself, they replied they couldnt honor the warranty on a vehicle that maintence can't be proven. So no go with those idiots.
I run over to City Chevrolet like someone had mentioned and they didn't ask shit, I told the guy the issue and he just said "ok sir next week set up an appointment and we will take a look at her and we have to keep it for over one day we will provide you with a loaner car" I even asked the guy if I needed any kind of paper work.. And he said nope as long as its still under warranty we will fix it.
Awesome people over there at City Chevy.

Glad City worked out for you. That crap from Bob Stall sounds like a complaint waiting to happen. They have gone from one extreme to the other.
