I just cancelled on my Honda since i sold the car in anticipation of the Camaro. I told the TOTAL BRAINLESS IDIOT on the phone the exact reason I was cancelling it - car is GONE, and at the end of the conversation (AFTER he cancelled it) he says: So, do you want to continue the subscription for 5 months for $20? I'm like, 'yeah dude, please let me do that so I can pay for the new owner to have music for 5 months after he jobbed me on the purchase to begin with. I then ended the call with - hey, good luck on that chemical engineering test you have at MIT today.

Good reception here, it cuts in and out when I'm in my garage, but that's about it.
I renewed mine so that I don't have to switch to the Cincinnati stations on my drive up to work. Even though they play the same 10 songs over and over that we get down here (and on XM), at least I don't have to switch favorites or seek to find them.

I got the notice from them that my free XM was expiring, and they wanted $39 for the remainder of the calander year. I sent a note saying no thanks.

THen just yesterday I get another renewal card from them....for $9....the other $30 magically fell off.

So...I renewed. For now.

Same here. After figuring out who kept hanging up on my voicemail every evening for a week (at work!), I finally got a live person during the day. I told them I had no plans to continue the service and would rather pay the $15/mo for a Zune Pass since I'd have access to a much wider range of music. They shut up and asked if I'd like to be removed from their calling list. I guess I must have been in a bad mood that day because I don't think I've ever had a customer service rep voluntarily offer to take me off a calling list before.

I had Sirius for about four years and just canceled it about two months ago. Since they merged with XM it's the same service now. I find that I never listened to it except on days when I forgot my iPod. Honestly the only reason I even subscribed to Sirius was for Howard Stern. After a while he just gets boring to me. Same old show day in and day out.

For weeks I would get call after call practically begging me to come back. The $77 dollar deal was always the one they went to right away. Never had an issue with service other than being stuck under an over-pass and the signal would go out. Other than that it was nice and clear all the time.

I gotta say, I don't miss the service one bit.

Playboy Radio... H-100... Bluesville... Deep Tracks... Lithium...

All the radio entertainment that you otherwise have no hope of getting in Los Angeles.

Get Tom Leykis back on the air with SIRIUS/XM syndication so I can listen no matter where I am, and we'd all have it made.

Thought I was getting a good deal when I got the $77/year offer. Then I got a call from XM offering me 6 months for $29.95. Seems the longer you wait, the sweeter the deal.

If you already have a 3 year deal will the let you upgrade to the lifetime?

Thanks for all this great information. XM started sending me offer cards in the mail and I ended up with the $4.99 per month for 6 months. I guess I'll just re-evaluate it again when that offer is over.

Overall my reception is pretty good. However, there are some open areas that I drive through that the reception breaks up for a second or two no matter what.
