What kind of gains should I see?

I am about to add some mods to my 2010 V6 Camaro and was wondering what kind of horsepower and torque gains I should see. Here is what I'll have.

K&N CAI 63 Series
FlowMaster American Thunder Axle Back Exhaust
Doug Thorley Short Headers
VMAX Black Ice-Olator
Trifecta Tune

and will the tune make a big difference?

You'll add maybe 25 whp.

Auto or manual?

Why are you going with shorty headers if I may?

Then yes the tune will make a difference. You might not feel much power gains cuz there really isn't much to be had but the changing of the shift points and the changing of the shift firmness will make your car a blast to drive

Well as of now its because of budget. What kind of long tube headers do you recommend? I don't want to pay a thousand dollars for them.

Nope. Tune is said to be good for maybe 13hp on a stock car. The K & N will give you 10 on a stock car, maybe? Exhaust doesn't give you anything. Short headers will give you 9 hp on a stock car. Black Ice-olator is advertised as giving 20 hp off peak but will give about 5 hp peak. So add that all up, you're at 37 peak. But numbers don't stack up like that on mods so you should be at 25-27 maybe? You'll surely get better gains off peak and the car will be a blast to drive but that's what you'll gain peak.

Alright well that makes sense. I was thinking the Ice-Olator gains sounded too good to be true.

Don't get me wrong, it's easily the best bang for the buck mod on these cars. Even with that mod alone, you should notice a difference but I didn't want you to think you'd make like 50 rwhp and then get a dyno done and come back with the fact that you only made 20 hp. The ice-olator is a great mod though. I have the MACE one and would do that one first if I had to do it all over again

I have a spread sheet for damn near anything and everything in my life.......

So when I see threads like this one I like to toss this one in.

Called "Ricer Math". Basically I figure you can add them all together but then need to divide by 2.

These are my mods, everything is estimated or approximate.

So if we look at the numbers we see that "ricer math" claims and increase of 84 HP. Divide this by 2 and I could see "MAYBE" 42 HP. Add this to the stock number of 312. I could claim 354 HP. Reality is I would be happy if it is producing 350 HP.

lsCamaro and RTcatman are spot on. I'd also say 20 - 25 rwhp...maybe a couple more but I doubt it.

The Ice-olator is a good mod....just not for peak power. It does a great job at keeping the incoming air cooler and helping with midrange gains.

Remember...its not all about peak power...you want the gains in the low and midrange as well. I'd much rather add 50 HP and 50 TQ down low and in the midrange and half of that or less at peak than the other way around....unless maybe I'm always at the track and at WOT all of the time lol.

But I'm not...I drive on the street so I want to feel those mods.

Thanks for the info. The chart made things make even more sense. What if I got the BBK Long Headers. The video I saw claimed around 30 horsepower alone, without tune. Then I would be looking around 50-55 peak?

Nope doesn't work like that. Remember that numbers don't add up. BBK claims 30hp but that's also off peak. I think in peak hp they make like 22 (don't quote me on that one). So if you were going to make 25 before, you might make 35-40 with long tubes
