And a report of a friend of a friend that works on the line does not hold much water with me.....Thanks guys for the updates on vin #'s I can only imagine the frustration with the system when it was not functioning. Many Many Gratis for all the hard work. It is really appreciated......
I didn't run the numbers but with about four 1/2 days to produce a car and time to get vins posted in the database there could be a lag from body shop vin to vin listed in the spreadsheet.

Two days down could explain why we didn't find vins earlier this week.

Maybe the one-per-dealer ordering is done by the district managers and only the Ohio one added the SORP string to it? So perhaps we can't go by that as a guide for those cars.

Did not look at EVERY vin, but it appears that all 93 of the AVIS cars are 2SS Automatics.

I could see SOME of them being SS cars, but I'd think the majority would be V6 cars.

Anyone else find this kind of strange ??

Was thinking I liked UCF's spreadsheet better (can separate by model) until I saw the "VINS Summary" tab at the bottom of Heinz's ... well there's even more detail here.

All I can say is you guys have done some incredible work here !!

Thanks,

Doug

They are all 2SS automatic at this point. Not that strange. They're renting them as specialty/fun vehicles.

For those of you in the Philadelphia area on May 8th there is a drive away of LT Camaros with accessories on them including stripes premium mats door sills fuel door car cover and in the trunk there will be Phillies world series badging. Cole Hamels will receive his Camaro he won last year for being World Series MVP. If you go there will probably be 50 or 60 there. I have been to other drive aways and they always have lots of cars and they are usually all red (Phillies)! When it is done each dealer brings theirs home to sell.
By your tickets now.

that means that the mirror is 38.75% the size of the vertical windshield...
it sure seems like the ratio could be better... just sayin....

I seriously might try to rent one. Take it out to Bithlo and see what kinda times I can get with it lol. Some big smoky burnouts/brake stands will be in order. I'm going to be out in LA for work early next month, maybe I can rent one then .
