I could never spray my car on the launch. It spins as it is now. As for spinning during the pass while spraying. Maybe you'll see at the Camaro fest in person if it does or doesn't.

OP, I think your're pretty much screwed. First and foremost. You are going no where without a forged block. And even then the TVS 2300 on a 416 will be hard to make a consistent 9 second car. Ted is builing that set-up right now for Gotthat02fire. See what his car makes. It's basically mine with a 416 and heads. Should make near 775 rwhp is my guess. If you really want to go fast you should switch to a Centri blower.

Just to give you guys an idea we had a drag event ON THE STREET, and on street tire, launching the car in 2nd and spinning through third I was able to trap 124. I know the car can trap near 130 on slicks.

I spin so much that I actually have to LET OFF several times and have to shift before power curves just to avoid spinning off the road. The car has TONS of power as is. On the dyno I hit 550rwhp at 5psi with belt slip. 630+ at 8-9psi. Hopefully the 8rib and the slicks will really help me show what this car has. But yes... I NEED to beat this car. It's just a nation wide grudge match between v8 and 4cyl. He actually pounded on a modded turbo s pdk. The owner of the PDk has the fastest v8 in the country (an 850hp all motor drag vette with a shot of nitrous on top). that vette will be street ready on thursday... I assume to beat this evo.

So all that said.....at best you are a low to mid 10 second car on slicks. If that car is as fast as you say it is then you are not going to beat him with this combo...period.

You can't push your setup much harder as IIRC you are a stock block. So you need to either shy away from the EVO or start spending some money.

IMO seems like you need a better alignment spec... or new alignment shop should not be spinning that much with your power level...
