I can see it now. Op goes into the dealer and

Op: I need to make an appointment for some service on my camaro

dealer: Why what seems to be the problem?

Op: Well, no matter how hard I try I can't do a burn out.

dealer: Well, I haven't had any brought in with that problem yet ,but I'll check the computer for any TSB's on this problem.

Dealer comes back from checking the computer: I don't know what to tell you ,but there isn't any TSB's on the problem your having ,but if you wait a minute I'll have one of my techs take it for a ride to see if he can duplicate your problem.

Op: ummm okay

The op watches as his camaro goes out the door and into the dealer lot with the tech behind the wheel. Just then the tech lites them up doing a sixty foot burnout to the end of the lot and then another sixty foot burn out right back to the service dept.

The tech gets out and says to the op: Everything looks fine to me. I couldn't get it to do what your talking about. If it does it again bring it back in and I'll try again. Have a nice day.

remove traction control and launch controls (press and hold traction button for 7sec)

SMASH the gas pedal to the floor... if that puppy doesnt ripe like no tmw.... return it for a M6. unless your north or 800lbs i cant see what the problems is.

I actually havent tried to burn out in mine yet (L99) but I will have to try it this weekend sometime. 400hp car should have no trouble with it at all unless something is wrong. I would not suggest brake standing though, that tears things up.

But now when I try it it won't do it! I hold the brake and give it gas and as soon as the tires begin to break loose it's like the abs or something kicks in and releases the brakes and "lurches" forward. I know it's not me because I've done burnout's in it before. Has anyone else experienced this?
Okay, I give. I didn't know there was such a thing as an SS A6.

OP.

Less brake, faster gas.

Its like in a m6, if you brake to hard you will just stall it. You don't need much brake at all.

In my m6 I can do a burn out through 2nd gear.

And to who asked how to do a stand still burn out, were you using your brake? You will creep forward a little.

TRY SEARCHING, I HAVE SEEN PLENTY OF THREADS ON THIS
