Is that a 9500ix? Will your GPS still work... It's said on the box that it had to have a clear view of the sky for the GPS to work. I'm just asking because I might buy one of these holders.

Yes, it is a 9500ix. I use a Solo2 in my truck and I like this a lot better. I just went out and tested the GPS as I hadn't even thought about that being a potential problem until I read your post. After pulling out of my garage it took about a minute to pick up the GPS. I set my screen to post my speed so I could tell easier if I was picking up a signal or not. I drove around for about 15 minutes in all four directions and I didn't ever lose the signal so it looks like it is fine.

Ordered mine as well. For Escort 9500ix with black rubber finished coating. Thanks a ton!

Yes, I just tucked in into the headliner and came across to the driver side pillar which takes you right down to the fuse box. The only spot where I have any wires exposed is where it pops out to plug into the detector itself and a very short piece where my remote mute is located. I've been happy with it installed this way.

So yours is wired into where the fuse box is inside instead of in the dome light area up top ?
I'll have to take a look at mine and see how thats wired.

Yes, I put a piggyback fuse in the F17 spot which is the fuse that is for the power outlet in the center console.

Yes you can see it but not as good as if it were on the drivers side. I tried it on the drivers side and it was too much in my vision, but my head is brushing the headliner. If you don't sit up that high it might not be a problem for you to put it on the drivers side. Having to put it on the passenger side is one of the reasons that I did the Direct Wire Smartcord on the drivers side so I can see the light go off on both sides and it is a lot easier to reach the mute button.

Count me in for one as well.

Nothing more annoying than a suction cup mount that won't stay mounted.

Heres an update for the guys who ordered -

The coating material was backordered but UPS tracking says it will be here Monday so these WILL go out Tuesday. Again, sorry for the delay, but I will now have enough of it to last me a LONG time.
