I was having a problem fitting the bracket into my Escort 9500ix. I wrestled it for a long time. I matched the holes to the bracket that came with the detector. I thought maybe the hole on this bracket wasn't big enough. After cutting microscopic slivers in an effort to increase the rectangle opening, I put my ignorance to an end. I unscrewed my brand new detector and took the internals out very carefully. I was able to figure out that it was simply the black rubber that was in the way. I cut off just enough that was making contact with the detector and slip that puppy "all the way in", unlike the stock bracket that came with it. This bracket fits like a glove. 100% all the way in and it's snug as long as you cut off any black rubber that's in the way. Trying to save anyone from going through what I just did! Thanks a ton for the bracket! Good work!
