If you have access to a CNC machine, a couple of throttle bodies to practice on, and can do before and after flow bench testing- have at it!

If not, you are more likely to create a bottleneck and reduce the performance of your TB, IMHO.

Best bet is the ported TB from Rx Performance.

Really simple to replace. On my L99 removed clamps from rubber connector on my cai inc at throttle body. Used a 10mm socket and removed the 4 bolts, disconnected the electrical plug-in. Installed the new throttle body, being careful not to overtighten the 4 bolts, plug in connector and reconnect cold air intake. Note!! TO SELF !! I did not do a good job of reconnecting the rubber cai inc intake hose. Went for a test drive and all was well. Put camaro away for about 2 weeks and the next time I fired her up noticed I had a check engine light. The rubber hose at throttle body had slipped off, reconnected good this time and light went away. I do make some stupid mistakes sometime.

Ok does anyone have any pictures of like a side-by-side of the throttle body stock and the ported one? Showing the difference?

I'm not really sure how much material.

Ported throttle body is an ok mod I guess. Not worth it to me though. Of course, I say that having nothing to compare.

Ported heads, however, WAY not worth the money unless the heads are already off for some reason.
