Just had my third windshield put in, (every time I go to, or through California get a crack) and haven't noticed much of a difference during the day. Can still see a ghost image, might not be quite as bright. Definitely can tell a difference at night though. And it was the oem HUD part number. Stickers were still on the glass.

Actually the first time I took the car to California did not get a cracked windshield, took a rock in the condenser coil and all the freon sprayed out.

sounds like you should stay out of California

Has anybody in Wisconsin installed HUD in a 2010? What about w/i 100miles or so ...anybody want to take on another install?

Isn't it so freaking cool? I think we need to compile a list of things that the HUD displays.

So far I know:
1. Traction Control Activated, Stabilitrak Activated
2. OnStar logo when you connect to OnStar
3. Cruse Control Activated
4. Routing Failure
5. Turn Signals and Hazards
6. High-Beam Indicator
7. Digital Tachometer, Speedometer, Compass, Gear Indicator
8. Turn by Turn Navigation Display
9. Now Playing Indication
10. Phone Number Display
11. Low Fuel Warning

If anyone finds anything else just list it and I'll add to this list.

It has been worth it, have had glass coverage on all the vehicles I've own, and never had to replace a windshield till this vehicle.
Have family over in Ca, and wouldn't have missed the Stillen cruise, or the Laughlin run because the car attracts rocks!
