Looks like all you need are the part numbers for Part 19 from the first picture (HUD), and Part 40 from the second picture (Trim Bezel).

wonder if the wires are the in the 2010 to plug into the HUD? I assume yes, because they were wanting it to be done before production. . .

This is going to be a cool DIY. I know a lot of vette guys that have done this retrofit and you DO NOT need a new windshield. The stock one will work fine.

GREAT work on this so far, 2SSRS... no doubt you will do an awesome job with this DIY. If I wasn't already committed to trading the 2010 i got used for an new '11 with IOM interior instead of the black and with the rear-parking sensors (and HUD of course) then I would be right there with you trying to do this.
I seriously doubt you would need a new windshield considering how much reflection we get just from the black defrost vents against the black faux-leather plastic dash The HUD will probably reflect just fine in all but the most direct sunlight on it. |
