I think we need some thread merging from the spyshot thread about the G8 Wagon spyshot.

Constant merging can be a pain..............

It says in one of the link that is was spotted going up to the polar circle in Europe. That means either Finland, Norway...or Sweden!!! I feel like staking out the main highway to see it passing by!

Open door shots

Check out these pictures with the doors open. You can analyze the doors with these:

WOOHOO!!!!!!! I hope I have my radio controls on my steering wheel. I spotted On*Star on the rearview mirror. And I also spotted the reverse lights on back, and I like them there, I think that is a good spot for them! I still hope they change the tach a little bit, I'm not that crazy about it. And from the best I can tell about the number increments, they are still going to have to change them a little bit because the speed-o goes from 60 to 80 still...

Looks like the driver's seat is manual and the passenger's is powered, odd.

Guessing this is viral marketing by GM. Who transports 3 prototypes exposed and leaves them un-monitored and unlocked?

Could have just as easly been a covered carrier or enclosed trailer.

True - good eye Camarochick. *lightbulb above my head*.......80mph....at almost the "12:00 position"...Can it be that our speedo will still go upwards of 170?

I definitely think they lowered the seats in the prototype:

I really don't want to say anything. Too dirty. Not finished. They need time to redo the dash. Nice to see the radio/ac controls changed. But...to be honest...

I'm not happy. And...I'm not unhappy. I'm just here. They need to finish it out.........more like the concepts. Too unfinished looking for me to get excited at that....

One I can sort of talk about is the Camaro. We had the first fully representative prototype with close to final surfaces standing at track side. It looked as awesome as the concept, and the blotchy black/white camo scheme could not destroy the great stance and proportion. The body fits were already better than what came off the line a few years ago. The interior had some hand-made plastic parts and showed some gaps, but was remarkable for the first car.
Anybody remember this? That was a quote coming from Bob Lutz...

"some hand-made plastic parts and showed some gaps". I'm pretty sure he's aware of how much work still needs to be done on the insides of that car, and much of the "eww" factor of that unfinished interior will go away.

I dont mind how dirty or unfinished it may be, but I'm very satisfied thus far. I am going to remain fully confident that it will be spectacular once it is released in ONE MORE YEAR!

and thanks Dragon for the post merges
