dont care if they are marked. when they are unmarked and try and instigate a race with you and you bite, even a little, they throw on the cherries. that's what you got to look out for

Wouldn't that be considered entrapment?

It's not in Canada where they do this practice as the Canadian bill of rights has a not withstanding clause. It's the most aggregious phrase you can have in a bill of rights it means that if the gov't be it police or any other gov't authority find it neccesary they can contravine the bill of rights. Right off the bat sorry for the politics but it does pertain to a question asked.

And as for the US if you have enough money Im sure you could fight it, but for a misdemeaner moving violation? I honestly would like to know tags or another police officers on here thoughts on this as to what the actual violation is listed as and what penalties or fines go along with it. I live in Canada, BC in particular were it has actually been a large problem among the young and stupid predominantly ricers and the penalties are getting pretty harsh.

they didnt make you race, YOU chose that.

No, it's the same as any other sting. The officers are only offering the illegal substance (or in this case, action). You're the one that has to take the bait. It's like when they do prostitution/drug stings. They sell it, but you fell into the temptation.

Yeah, like everyone else said, it's not.

Entrapment is when you're forced to commit a crime and then busted for it. If a cop held a gun to your head and told you to race, that'd be entrapment.

In this case they're simply baiting you and when you bite it's your fault and problem.

wow that is soo tru. i had a officer in a unmarked black srt-8 charger challange me(in my stock mazda3) i told him to quote "hahaahaah... go get a life." btw not knowing this is a officer. he drove off without no worries. 3 days later i see this srt-8 pulled over the side of the road with his red/blues on with a 350z in front of him. i was proud of myself. btw those srt8s sound amazing lol
