High oil pressure

I just recently cammed my 2014 1le, and the oil pressure gauge reads high at idle 70psi.When oil temperature is reading 100+ @ idle it reads around 30 psi. When I rev it past 3k or so it reads 70psi. Is this normal for the readings.

Did you install a new hi volume oil pump? If so that sounds about right.

Did you do anything to the pump? Sounds a little high but not outrageous. My 10355HV on a cold start with the medium spring puts out about 60psi, 30 when hot.

I have a high volume pump. Cold starts at idle are around 55/60psi. Warm is low 30s

10355 HV here (newly installed ) like 65-70at cold start . 30-33 at idle when hot . Running driven dt 5-40 oil . Loving my new found oil pressure over a regular 10355. Thinking of switching back to ls30 but motor after upgrades seems to run a lot hotter plus running e-85 dt-40 seems to stand up to ethanol a lot better . Started using the slightly heavier oil per recommendation from driven . Explaining my build and running ethanol . Oil temps about 210 when up to operating temp .

Having oil temps above 212° is a good thing if you ask me. Helps boil off the condensation! 👍🏼

I use Mobil 1 5W30 with the Melling 10295 pump, and my cold starts are right around 65-70, idle after warm up is right around 34-35, cruising at 55 mph she sits right at 53-55 psi.
