I don't do much drag racing, I'm more into autox and road course. I don't really understand the classes... Is it an open class with any mods? With the exception of my suspension I'm most likely going to be stock. What class is that? I would hate to go into an open class and get waxed by some 600hp beast.

Guys, this is going to be a killer event. Don't miss this one. If you have new Camaro this one is for you. It will be a great opportunity to see your car in Camaro Performers magazine, or any of the other magazines that will be there. There are no guarantees of course, but I can guarantee it won't be if you don't show up.

Let's see what you've got!

Sounds fun. L99 can slide in there, right?

Any 5th Gen Camaro Has a Chance to Win this Class

Guys,

I want to point out that any 5th Gen Camaro has a chance to win this class, which pays big bucks ($1,000 to win), contingency and an LSX block. Purse and contingency could get as high as $2,000 - $3,000 and the LSX Block is worth over $3,000!

Because this class is index-style the fastest car is not the most likely to win. A 13-second car has as much of a chance at an 11-second car.

Exposure for this class will be big with racers getting their cars and mugs in Camaro Performers, GM High-Tech Performance, FSC and LSXTV.com.

If you have any race questions post them here and Jeff Conley, NMCA's tech director, will help you. He can also be reached on NMCA's tech line at 714-460-3813.

Thanks!

I'm confused. the specs at the beginning of the thread, all reference a V-6 motor?

They're just clarifying what LLT is. LS is the V8.
