BBK headers causing whine at high RPM?
I have no idea if this is normal but my car whines at high RPM's and its only noticeable in the cabin. It only started doing this after I got my headers installed. |

Don't know if this is normal or not but I do know that headers make everything louder since they don't absorb noise as well as the cast factory manifold. So they basically amplify all engine noise. Maybe it was already there and u just never noticed?

Sounds normal to me, I just know after I installed mine I heard the intake whistling and sucking in more air.

When headers are installed on these cars you will hear the intake sucking in more air. Also the injectors will echo also along the piping. This is all normal, like stated before it just gets amplified.

sounds perfectly normal. your intake and headers really help open the airway. along with that, the resonance from the motor will be amplified in both your CAI tubing and the headers. with the motor breathing better, its going to be louder in the higher RPM's as its not as choked out as it was before when compared to stock.
btw...sounds good!

It really whines now even more after my trifecta tune I can only assume it will get louder (the whine) when I increase the exhaust flow.

It sounds a little hollow in the interior I am not sure if it's because it's clamped and not welded but I am not liking the interior noise to much that's for sure.
