Telescoping steering colunm?

I was wondering if the Camaro would have (even as an option) a telescoping steering column, and if so is it power? I can't really tell from the pictures, it looks like it does but not sure so maybe those who sat in it at Indy know? Thanks!

Hehe thanks, I was pretty sure it did but just checking lol. I guess I really wanted to know if it was power and if so does it have a feature where it goes in when you exit the vehicle/comes out when you get in? My family's Lexus has this, but when it goes in it actually makes it harder for taller people to get out, kinda annoying. I would doubt the Camaro would have programmable settings for this if it even has it, and like I said this is a very minor detail but I cannot stop thinking about this car lol!

Yes tried it in the IVER. Little handle on column you flip down(yellow arrow), then you can tilt wheel up/down, and pull wheel in/out.

Thank Godness! Telescoping column is about one of the best features to come out regarding ergonomics.

Not sure if this has been covered yet but will it have adjustable pedals as well? That's a big plus for me since I'm a bit on the short side.

Telescoping steering wheel? Woot! This is great news! I've never had that in any of my cars, but always wished I did.

This might sound odd, but I'm glad it is manual telescoping rather than automatic. It is just one less thing to break, and it is probably lighter and cheaper too.

Shorter folks sit closer to the wheel. Airbag technology apparently knows when someone is close to the bag nowadays, but her driving position is not exactly optimal in most cars. Adjustable pedals would fix that. (Not that she's gonna be driving MY car )
