I called Quartzsite PD and spoke to the Chief of Police. He's going to take a look around and might have a closed RV dealership we can use if he can get the keys. He said it will handle 100 cars with no problems. If that doesn't work he's gonig to check with the county about another lot.

. Plowed it last weekend, got the car out and parked inside in one of the bays at work.

The Chief of Police thought the best spot in town would be at the east end and at the intersection of Mockingbird St. at Riggles Ave. (the area in red) Exit 19. There's an AM/PM here with a new back lot for trucks but they don't carry diesel fuel yet. I spoke to the manager (Gary) and he gave us permission to use the lot as a meeting point while we wait for the others to fuel.

The Chief also offered us any traffic control that we may need to get us back onto the freeway. So between AZ DPS running us a traffic break and slowing/stopping all eastbound I-10 traffic and the locals hooking us up....

Looks like we're all set!!
