Umm, both are coming with Cylinder Deactivation, so as far as highway they will both do well. That is probably as gas saving as you would get.

Other than that.. .there is an edit button.

With all sincerity, I've given up on guessing the engine. I know I won't be dissapointed...

I'm expecting a minimum of 400hp! ...w/ the possibility of upgrades...

blindingillusion,
check out MINDZ post on this page:
http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...ghlight=v6%27s
that's the best quote i could find, i think it was stated more clearly somewhere else. it makes sense though, 1 really really fuel efficient v6-like 240 hp and civic gas mileage, 1 mustang gt killer with 300 something hp with still pretty good gas mileage, and 1 v8 that's gona be somewhere close to gt 500 performance i think(400 something, but it's a chevy so bank on it kicking cobra butt). that's just what i have guestimated.

Everything in that thread was speculation. Hell, I am not sure the stuff in this thread isn't speculation.

Also, 3whiterag, it isn't nice to make a comment on something you know about just to make us go nuts. Its eating in front of starving people, or teasing people in hell with ice water.

While I'd love to get a V8, there's some unknowns for me between now and when the Camaro gets released (chief among them, insurance costs) and I don't know for sure if I'll be able to get one with a V-8 (but my fingers are crossed). To see that the V-6 will still get over 300 horses is a very good thing indeed....don't think I'll be disappointed!

This is a bit off topic, but I love how this forum has a field to put a reason for an edit to a post. I find myself using that just to amuse myself.

But yeah.. wish the Fbodfather would stop by this thread and step on our dreams in some inconspicuous yet alluring way.
