I'm very happy with these confirmations. I cannot wait to see them in dealership lots so I can go on a test drive.

Ohgoodnightnurse........
...........we're leaking like a sieve.................. OK --- you gotta have some faith here peeps! I've said it until I'm blue in the face (oh -- wait -- it was the headlights that make me indigo......) -- anyway - I digress -- We intend to be the best out there. Period. (and pay no attention when people start spouting off 'liters' -- ) Some of us are used to saying "327" and "350" and "427" and "396" - and when you ask us liters -- we tend to mix 'em up. (me included, of course....) |

Well he has again spoken to calm the frenzied masses.
I'm with you, I refer to engines in cubic inches, not liters. Plus as long as she has 8 cylinders and competitive horsepower (400+?), I don't care if it's called LS-6, LT-1, L-88, LS1, "Mouse" or "Rat". Whatever it ends up being, rest assured, there will readily available performance upgrades. |

i have to disagree with you z28. i am very glad to hear about the hp, but also very important is the technology. i'm really ready to see something with DI, maybe AFM, and dare i say OHC? oh, and while we're at it let's break all the gm rules and get a 4 valve per cylinder engine! forgive my heresy, but i'm ready for some high-tech power. i buy a car for more than the looks.

So I guess it's back to square one. Good news is the LS8, LSA type engine is back in the mix. And of course that there will be a 400+ HP AFM V8... That's still real good news.

I have plenty of faith in GM, i just get all excited just like that time i was 12 and i got to see N sync perform!(joke) LOL!!! I own a 88 Lincoln town car worth about 500 dollars. My wife drives a brand new Ford Fusion. That all being said, i also sell new Chevys at my local dealership, just sold and drove my first new vett!! i have done well in my prof. and have the means to get out of my no radio, no a/c, huge exhaust leaking boat, but i am saving every penny for the top dog Camaro, or z51 vett. now you understand why i am tortured so. sorry fbodfather just lost a little focus, but now iam found. And still alive!
