Veteran's day event- Ft Campbell, KY: 25 - 5th Gen Camaros - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Music City Camaro Club and Memory Lane Cruisers were invited to participate in a family fun event for Ft Campbell Military personnel & their families. It was also a fundraiser for local organization that helps reinvolve returning/wounded military personnel in recreational/community activities. Music City Camaro club members competed against each other to collect the most phones for Cell Phones for Soldiers to provide calling cards for military personnel overseas to stay in touch with their loved ones. The club collected about 80 phones. Thank you to fbodfather for providing a limited edition signed poster which was awarded to club winning member Brian Sparks who collected over 30 phones. Music City Camaro Club along with some of our comrads from Central Kentucky Camaro club gathered 25 beautiful 5th Generation Camaros who cruised in together and competed at the event.

It was great fun for a great cause. Thank you to all our brave Military personnel past & present for all you do to keep up safe. :flag2: Here are some pics of our very nice day (but COOOOOOLD & windy!). Club members add your pics to mine.\
EDIT NOTE: It looks like we actually collected 100+ cell phones with ones counted/truned in late!

Note: My camera battery was dieing and I did not get a pic of second place winner jacqs, owner of the beautiful custom metalic pink Camaro (this is the color the breast cancer awareness pace cars should have been painted). Hopefully another team member got that pic. BTW she is selling that beauty, wish I had the $ to buy another Camaro.

I didn't take alot of pictures but I do have about 5MB of video from the cruise. I recorded the trip from Hardees to the show. Unfortunatly, the audio didn not get picked up. I don't know what happened, the volume was turned up way beyond what a normal person would have it.
