if we can get something like a group buy discount type of thing going on we could really save a lot of money on the parts

i just thought about it and idk if you would be up for it but you could sell 2010 camaro HUD kits with everything included. if you buy in bulk im sure you can get much cheaper prices for everything then sell the kits and make some profit off of each one. have a group buy with deposits and use that money to start buying the parts. you really do deserve to make some sort of profit off of all the hard work you put into this project. its just an idea but i think it could work out nicely for everyone.

Most interesting part I think will be removing the dash to make the cut and install of the HUD unit.

There are several reputable parts dealers who sponsor here.... I would highly recommend considering them first and at least you'll will know what you will have to pay to get what u want. (I am not a mod, nor do I work for anyone in the car biz... Just a pissed off consumer) Or even better, lets see what 2SSRS can come up with for prices if he chooses to do a group buy... |

So they're selling a single connector with 6 wires for $85?
Madness!!! I'll do some digging on this. My guess is that there's a 500% markup on that. The steering wheel control harness is only $23. One connector and 6 wires for $85? Maybe it's made from baby unicorns or something |
