I love the look of the 21" GM rims also, but the price is insane. There is a guy on here now looking to sell the 21"s in all black for $2500 or so which is WAY more reasonable and he includes the tires and TPMS. You might want to jump on that if you want the all black OEM 21 look.

Those 21" wheels are sweet, but like everyone else said, way to overpriced. Thats why i got mine used.

I opted out of them.... Look at it this way. That is $4800 above and beyond the 20"s.
If your still not convinced. A rear 20" Pirelli P-Zero (275/40ZR20XL106Y CHV) from Discount tire is $225 A rear 21" Pirelli P-Zero (275/35R21XL 103Y CHV)From discount tire is $495 You will also find that at Discount Tire the only 21" you'll find is the Pirelli. That is a testament to everything that has been said above. You ready to pay a grand when you roast the back tires off? I am not.

Please don't.
That money could be spent on much better (and a lot lighter) set of wheels (for less cash). You could also buy lots of mods with that extra cash. |

If you want blacked out wheels, you could have the stock 20's powdercoated for $500 or less. $4800 is a joke.

I picked up a set of 19" 2LT rims - chromed - and brand spanking new Pirellis for $1000 to replace my 1LS Heritage Wheels. I guess it was a "distressed sale". I think I got a great deal.

My suggestion is either buy black aftermarket wheels or get your aftermarket wheels powder coated before you ever put them on your car.

Hey real quick guys, would it be stupid or foolish or make no diffrence to black powdercoat my rims, if i bought black rims aftermarket?
Like i want black rims, however i've also seen what powdercoating looks like and i really like it, would it be a waste? or what? leme know your suggestions Thanks |

Well, I guess you could, although I don't know why you would. I think most good aftermarket black wheels look great as is. You can get either matte or gloss black, so I'm not sure what the point of powdercoating them would be.

The 21inch tires for the official GM Camaro wheels are like $400-450 a pop, and they wear out FAST. So unless you feel like paying $1500+ on tires every 10 months or so stay away.
And for the price of $4800, you can get some high quality wheels+good tires(that one that last a lot longer than the GM 21 tires and cost less than $250 a pop, lol) |

It really takes a tremendous pair to mark up prices the way these dealerships do.
