Realized today Stripes are wrong Color - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Well i picked up my car yesterday and even tho it had a peachy color to the suposed to be ( BloodRed ) Stripes i figured it was just the lighting due to it being dusk. Well today i was able to confirm my stripes are a peachy orange color in direct sunlight and pinkish in shadows ( Witch Sucks Considering everything im planning for the car is Blood Red ) soo now i have to have a fun day tommorow with the dealer and see what can be done. :(

Just for refrence My engine cover is blood red and this is at night durning the day they look pinkish :(

Are they vinyl or painted? (they look vinyl)
If so, have them take it off and fix their mistake

You can definitely see the color difference between the stripes and engine cover, although they're at different angles. Are they painted or vinyl? Who did them?

There vinyl ( thank god ) and I'm going tommorow to have something done idk what yet they claim that's the darkest red you can get with vinyl but I call bullshit iv seen bloodred viynls on mustangs. Anyone know where I can get some ?

Chevy did them and no il take some tomorrow in the daylight there literally peach color

damn i thought u had gotten them painted. thank god its just vinyl, and yeah u can get that stuff in any color, blood red should def be one.

I'd get them taken off, and get a good painter to paint them on propper! Worth the dough, and look a whole lot better!

Either way, your camaro looks bad-ass!

There claiming that thats cardinal red but theres no way and i have a very pacific color im wanting so maybe paint is the only way to go.. ( just dropped 400 on these tho :( ) Il post some in the daylight for yall to see and as far as the dealer they claim thats the darkest red they have and that i accepted the job as it was and that i saw the color before hand ( a small inch long strip laid on the spoiler ) so idk they said to call tommorow and come in soo wish me luck
