Push it until one breaks and then back off a click.

I only have about 500 miles on mine and it has been fairly cool weather so not much traction but I have hammered mine several times with 650 rwhp and over 600 ft-lbs and nothing has broken yet. I know others have broken parts.

you need to take the measures to minimize breakage, the tr6060 is rated at 700 hp & tq, as long as you dont have one with one of the questionable output shafts, the weak link here is the clutch, upgrade to a good quality twin disc, centerforce is my choice. next move on to the rear end, not many break except for axles, driveshafts at the pinion flange. main cause is excessive diff movement in rear subframe. install good quality diff housing and rear subframe bushings and a hotchkis chassis brace to eliminate as much movement as possible, less play = less breakage, make sure to properly torque the driveline flex discs and use loc-tite. done correctly and your good for approx 700 hp.

I agree.

The majority of failures are caused by stress on components due to soft bushings, mounts, ect. These components can't take the abuse of hard launches and high horsepower, and when they flex, they throw everything else off. Amazing the damage that can be done to transmission tail housings and pinions due to excessive movement.

As you said, the TR6060 alone is rated to 700ft/lbs, and I've heard from Tremec directly that the spec is a "very conservative" number. Guys run over 700ft/lbs through Viper spec T56's, and with the upgrades to the TR6060, those kinds of numbers are nothing

NO, the Rev limiter is not set to 118MPH... and YES, driving in this manner does affect MPG...

I think its the guys putting on the big slicks at 650wHP or higher breaking axles.. pulling the 1.5 and lower 60foots..
Im curious as to what level the clutch is good for.. 600HP?
