There's a Pontiac dealership about 45 minutes from where I live that has a 2002 SS and a 2002 WS6, neither of which have even been titled. They are asking $50K each.

Yep, it has never been titled AND the only mileage on the car is what it took to get the car off the trailer and into the showroom.

To be honest, I'm not sure but I would imagine that they would start them up every now and again to make sure they run properly.

Now, I have to ask. Since you're the only one I've done this for, What's it like having your existing car suddenly transform colors, but you can still tell it's your car? The 5th gen color changes are all good, but most of us don't have it in our driveways...

honestly, ive tried to imagine what it would look like and have tried to explain it to soooooo many people but being able to show them the way I want it.... :tweetz:

words cannot express it. plus, i posted these up on another forum and have already gotten bids to do the paint job (mainly cus the pics look so good) and they want the credit of doing such a fabulous paint job.

Congratulations! Let me know who you finally decide to do it with.

One of my teachers had a similar experience. He has a '66 Stingray Convertible. It was originally a pale blue. He wanted it painted red (All corvettes are Red), with a black stinger scoop.

The company he wanted to do it with quoted him. Then offered to do it for half-price because they had never done a Stingray before, and wanted to use it as a poster Car for future buisness. He said Sure, and let me tell you, his car is one of the most beautiful cars I have EVER seen.

im hopin thats what will happen for me. right now the lowest ive gotten is 5k. but thats also detailing the insides of the doors, trunk engine bay, wheel wells etc.
