washing the merino wash mitt
so.. i hung up my merino wash mitt in the laundry room to dry after thoroughly rinsing it out, thinking i didn't need to wash it. My mom thought it needed to be washed and she did and not it is alot more firm. It feels nothing like it did when i bought it. Am i supposed to wash it??

It actually can be machine washed, but if you do be sure to brush it out afterwards. The agitator action of the machine will tangle the fibers up a lot. I still prefer to rinse mine out and avoid the washer unless absolutely needed just to save the wear and tear on it. I brush it out with an old hairbrush every 2-3 uses and its still like new.
