Anyone who might of done this already would greatly appreciate any help, thanks in advance!

I hope this the correct thread, I have a 2013 Camaro 2ss. Recently I had a Pioneer AvicAvic8100nex installed with the New PAC unit. They also installed Hertz 6.5s up frnt, Hertz 2x12s Es 300s in custom sealed box in trunk and new Hertz 950 watt amp in trunk
Problem is a constant high hiss like ground loop. They tried isolater ect. Took HU out. Noise coming from sterring wheel to amp. Tap the steering wheel it goes away. Any suggestions?
Thank you.

Your problem is with They and They need to fix it since They f'd it up. The 5th gen does not produce any inherent ground loop noise into an aftermarket system that a first year audio installer couldn't overcome in his sleep. If for some reason They refuse to fix Their problem and kick you to the curb, let us know, we can get your credit card involved though it shouldn't go that far.

All good. Took them about 15 minutes to fix whatever it was. PAC Unit is great. Thanks again.

How to hug your camaro
Buy the car that you would most like to get beat in. The other guy will always be faster.

Pioneer AVIC 8200NEX head unit

Has anyone installed the Pioneer 8200NEX with the PAC kit? I saw someone did the 8100NEX. I am just wondering what they think about that HU because I am looking to get it for mine.

Thanks
Hop

I have the 8100NEX. I chose it for Android Auto, NAV, SAT, HD radio and the myriad of customization you can accomplish with the audio as I didn't want to swap out speakers. I did add a sub. I suppose head units are in the eye of the beholder, but I couldn't be happier with it...

Ok thanks.... I guess the 8100 and 8200 are essentially the same with some minor upgrades. I will be purchasing and installing my pioneer 8200NEX sometime in the next few weeks when I get some tolerable temperatures to take on this installation project. I will take pictures and notes on my install so hopefully any speed bumps I come across may help someone else out later.
