My grandfather used a duster, which was made from ostrich feathers.

Btw.Ostrich feathers have also been used in the automotive industry.

Just following up…I took the advice of many here…

- ceramic coating really helps…garage cover just skids off lol
- don’t touch the car unless it is clean and or wet and or soapy first
- dry car first with strong leaf blower
- ceramic spray shine is all I use after drying. No wax
- use linear polish strokes..never circle motion

Process
- spray soap foam on car
- let sit 2-3 min
- rinse
- spray foam soap again
- two bucket method wash car (one bucket clean water..one soap water)
- always rinse wash mit before continuing with soap bucket
- rinse again completely
- dry (air)
- favorite ceramic spray shine/protectant

Leave it alone…lol

Only thing I would add to the above method is rinsing with a good DI water. This makes for a spot free rinse. The DI filter removes all the solids from the water. I needed this because my water is so hard from being a well.
