Could be air entering the cabin? Are your windows indexing properly try readjusting them maybe they aren't closing all the way tight.

Yes, again this flutter only occurs at the speed indicated on my original post and are not there before and after that speed. Driving a 2LT with RS package with six speed automatic trans.

my 4th gen does the same thing too with the tops off and windows up... its pretty annoying going 70mph. Although if you do it and hold an open Gatorade bottle up near the sun visor it will whistle like blowing across a coke bottle.... don't ask how I figured that out.

The problem is the change in pressure between the inside air and outside air, when there is a leak of air. The pressure tries to stabilize going from low - high - low - high... I can duplicate this on any vehicle.

The problem could be either your windows as v6sonoma stated or your sunroof not sealing tightly.

How cold was you engine? If it had been driven for a while and the engine was hot it could be you fans kicking in.

I honestly don't think it's the windows or the sunroof. I have personally experienced this sound and I do not have a sunroof, and my windows were completely up. It is some kind of harmonic but I couldn't tell where it was coming from, I will try to replicate it again tomorrow.

I always understood this to be a pressure issue as well, nothing more. I've duplicated it in my 86 when the seals were going bad on the windows... no biggy.

My Toyota Highlander (with a sunroof) does this when I have the driver window down and at low speeds. I just roll the window up.

i believe them term is cavitation, it's usually applied to liquids, but since air can have similar properties to liquids...

No problem with mine, but I have a manual trans, no sunroof and non-RS.
