Help with seat motor replacement or seat cover replacement

Hey guys , does anyone know how difficult it would be to replace the recliner motor from another seat , or if it would be easier to replace the seat cover of the original seat onto the new seat? I have those tan colored ones and they are the most difficult in the world to find so I’ve given up and want to purchase replacement black seat and just put on the old covers.

Additionally, is there anyway to find brand new seat covers? I want to keep it oem. Thanks a bunch guys

Putting the bottom seat cover is not that difficult. I did it as the first upholstery project I ever tried with a pair of Amazon hog ring pliers and it looked factory when done. Pretty sure there is a thread on here or maybe I watched a YouTube video.

I never took motors out, but it should not be that difficult and probably less time consuming than swapping covers. It's all plugs under there. Following the wiring can be the most complicated piece, but that really only comes into play if your seats have position sensors, which you would not even mess with changing the motor.
